The difference between Median and Septile

When used as nouns, median means a central vein or nerve, especially the median vein or median nerve running through the forearm and arm, whereas septile means any of the quantiles that divide an ordered sample population into seven equally numerous subsets.

When used as adjectives, median means situated in the middle, whereas septile means relating to a septum.
