The difference between Median and Quintile

When used as nouns, median means a central vein or nerve, especially the median vein or median nerve running through the forearm and arm, whereas quintile means any of the quantiles which divide an ordered sample population into five equally numerous subsets.


Median is also adjective with the meaning: situated in the middle.
