The difference between Quintile and Septile
When used as nouns, quintile means any of the quantiles which divide an ordered sample population into five equally numerous subsets, whereas septile means any of the quantiles that divide an ordered sample population into seven equally numerous subsets.
Septile is also adjective with the meaning: relating to a septum.
