The difference between Hexadecile and Septile

When used as nouns, hexadecile means any of the quantiles which divide an ordered sample population into sixteen equally numerous subsets, whereas septile means any of the quantiles that divide an ordered sample population into seven equally numerous subsets.

When used as adjectives, hexadecile means of or relating to a hexadecile, whereas septile means relating to a septum.
