The difference between Decile and Hexadecile

When used as nouns, decile means any of the values in a series that divides the distribution of individuals in that series into ten groups of equal frequency, whereas hexadecile means any of the quantiles which divide an ordered sample population into sixteen equally numerous subsets.


Hexadecile is also adjective with the meaning: of or relating to a hexadecile.
