The difference between Genderqueer and Intersex

When used as nouns, genderqueer means someone who is genderqueer, whereas intersex means any of a variety of conditions (in a dioecious species) whereby an individual has male and female sex characteristics.

When used as verbs, genderqueer means to make genderqueer, whereas intersex means to make intersex.

When used as adjectives, genderqueer means not exclusively male or female, whereas intersex means having characteristics of both male and female sexes.
