The difference between Intersex and Intersexed

When used as adjectives, intersex means having characteristics of both male and female sexes, whereas intersexed means intersex.


Intersex is also noun with the meaning: any of a variety of conditions (in a dioecious species) whereby an individual has male and female sex characteristics.

Intersex is also verb with the meaning: to make intersex.
