The difference between Bigender and Intersex

When used as adjectives, bigender means having two genders simultaneously: both male and female, whereas intersex means having characteristics of both male and female sexes.


Intersex is also noun with the meaning: any of a variety of conditions (in a dioecious species) whereby an individual has male and female sex characteristics.

Intersex is also verb with the meaning: to make intersex.
