The difference between Indeterminate and Intersex

When used as adjectives, indeterminate means not accurately determined or determinable, whereas intersex means having characteristics of both male and female sexes.


Intersex is also noun with the meaning: any of a variety of conditions (in a dioecious species) whereby an individual has male and female sex characteristics.

Intersex is also verb with the meaning: to make intersex.
