The difference between Average and Median
When used as nouns, average means the arithmetic mean, whereas median means a central vein or nerve, especially the median vein or median nerve running through the forearm and arm.
When used as adjectives, average means constituting or relating to the average, whereas median means situated in the middle.
Average is also verb with the meaning: to compute the average of, especially the arithmetic mean.
