The difference between Comfortable and Safe

When used as nouns, comfortable means a stuffed or quilted coverlet for a bed, whereas safe means a box, usually made of metal, in which valuables can be locked for safekeeping.

When used as adjectives, comfortable means providing physical comfort and ease, whereas safe means not in danger.


Safe is also verb with the meaning: to make something safe.
