The difference between Harsh and Safe

When used as verbs, harsh means to negatively criticize, whereas safe means to make something safe.

When used as adjectives, harsh means unpleasantly rough to the touch or other senses, whereas safe means not in danger.


Safe is also noun with the meaning: a box, usually made of metal, in which valuables can be locked for safekeeping.
