The difference between Digit and Toe

When used as nouns, digit means the whole numbers from 0 to 9 and the arabic numerals representing them, which are combined to represent base 10 numbers, whereas toe means each of the five digits on the end of the foot.

When used as verbs, digit means to point at or point out with the finger, whereas toe means to furnish (a stocking, etc.) with a toe.
