The difference between Digit and Fingerbreadth
When used as nouns, digit means the whole numbers from 0 to 9 and the arabic numerals representing them, which are combined to represent base 10 numbers, whereas fingerbreadth means a (usually approximate and informal) unit of measurement based upon the radial width of the human finger.
Digit is also verb with the meaning: to point at or point out with the finger.
