The difference between Other and Unlike
When used as verbs, other means to regard, label or treat as an "other", as not part of the same group, whereas unlike means to dislike.
When used as adjectives, other means see other (determiner) below, whereas unlike means not like.
Other is also determiner with the meaning: not the one or ones previously referred to.
Other is also noun with the meaning: an other one, more often rendered as another.
Other is also adverb with the meaning: apart from.
Unlike is also preposition with the meaning: differently from.
