The difference between Dissimilar and Other

When used as adjectives, dissimilar means not similar, whereas other means see other (determiner) below.


Other is also determiner with the meaning: not the one or ones previously referred to.

Other is also noun with the meaning: an other one, more often rendered as another.

Other is also adverb with the meaning: apart from.

Other is also verb with the meaning: to regard, label or treat as an "other", as not part of the same group.
