The difference between Diverse and Other

When used as adverbs, diverse means in different directions, whereas other means apart from.

When used as adjectives, diverse means consisting of many different elements, whereas other means see other (determiner) below.


Other is also determiner with the meaning: not the one or ones previously referred to.

Other is also noun with the meaning: an other one, more often rendered as another.

Other is also verb with the meaning: to regard, label or treat as an "other", as not part of the same group.
