The difference between Disparate and Other

When used as nouns, disparate means any of a group of unequal or dissimilar things, whereas other means an other one, more often rendered as another.

When used as adjectives, disparate means composed of inherently different or distinct elements, whereas other means see other (determiner) below.


Other is also determiner with the meaning: not the one or ones previously referred to.

Other is also adverb with the meaning: apart from.

Other is also verb with the meaning: to regard, label or treat as an "other", as not part of the same group.
