The difference between Lesser and Subordinate

When used as nouns, lesser means a thing that is of smaller size, value, importance etc, whereas subordinate means one who is subordinate.


Subordinate is also verb with the meaning: to make subservient.

Subordinate is also adjective with the meaning: placed in a lower class, rank, or position.
