The difference between Defriend and Friend
When used as verbs, defriend means to remove from one's list of friends (e.g. on a social networking website), whereas friend means to act as a friend to, to befriend.
Friend is also noun with the meaning: a person other than a family member, spouse or lover whose company one enjoys and towards whom one feels affection.
