The difference between Decimal and Denary
When used as nouns, decimal means a number expressed in the base-ten system, a fractional numeral written in this system, whereas denary means an ancient coin, the denarius.
When used as adjectives, decimal means concerning numbers expressed in decimal or mathematical calculations performed using decimal, whereas denary means containing ten parts.
Decimal is also verb with the meaning: to represent with numbers after a decimal point.
