The difference between Agreement and Dissent
When used as nouns, agreement means an understanding between entities to follow a specific course of conduct, whereas dissent means disagreement with the ideas, doctrines, decrees, etc. of a political party, government or religion.
Dissent is also verb with the meaning: to disagree.
