The difference between Remote and Wireless

When used as verbs, remote means to connect to a computer from a remote location, whereas wireless means to send a message by wireless (by radio).

When used as adjectives, remote means at a distance, whereas wireless means not having any wires.


Wireless is also noun with the meaning: the medium of radio communication.
