When used as nouns, nothing means something trifling, or of no consequence or importance, whereas nowhere means no particular place, noplace.
When used as adverbs, nothing means not at all, whereas nowhere means in no place.
Nothing is also pronoun with the meaning: not any thing.
Nowhere is also adjective with the meaning: unimportant.
