The difference between Nobody and Nothing

When used as nouns, nobody means someone who is not important or well-known, whereas nothing means something trifling, or of no consequence or importance.

When used as pronouns, nobody means not any person, whereas nothing means not any thing.


Nothing is also adverb with the meaning: not at all.
