The difference between Historic and Historical

When used as nouns, historic means a history, a non-fiction account of the past, whereas historical means a historical romance.

When used as adjectives, historic means very important, whereas historical means of, concerning, or in accordance with recorded history, (particularly) as opposed to legends, myths, and fictions. about history.
