The difference between Contemporary and Historical

When used as nouns, contemporary means someone or something living at the same time, or of roughly the same age as another, whereas historical means a historical romance.

When used as adjectives, contemporary means from the same time period, coexistent in time, whereas historical means of, concerning, or in accordance with recorded history, (particularly) as opposed to legends, myths, and fictions. about history.
