The difference between Ancient and Historical

When used as nouns, ancient means a person who is very old, whereas historical means a historical romance.

When used as adjectives, ancient means having lasted from a remote period, whereas historical means of, concerning, or in accordance with recorded history, (particularly) as opposed to legends, myths, and fictions. about history.
