The difference between Female and Male

When used as nouns, female means a human member of the feminine sex or gender, whereas male means a human member of the masculine sex or gender.

When used as adjectives, female means belonging to the sex which typically produces eggs (ova), or to the gender which is typically associated with it, whereas male means belonging to the sex which typically produces sperm, or to the gender which is typically associated with it.
