The difference between Female and Gender identity
When used as nouns, female means a human member of the feminine sex or gender, whereas gender identity means a person's sense of self as a member of a particular gender.
Female is also adjective with the meaning: belonging to the sex which typically produces eggs (ova), or to the gender which is typically associated with it.
