The difference between Gender identity and Male
When used as nouns, gender identity means a person's sense of self as a member of a particular gender, whereas male means a human member of the masculine sex or gender.
Male is also adjective with the meaning: belonging to the sex which typically produces sperm, or to the gender which is typically associated with it.
