The difference between Extreme and Outermost

When used as nouns, extreme means the greatest or utmost point, degree or condition, whereas outermost means that which is outermost.


Extreme is also adverb with the meaning: extremely.

Extreme is also adjective with the meaning: of a place, the most remote, farthest or outermost.
