The difference between Extreme and Least

When used as nouns, extreme means the greatest or utmost point, degree or condition, whereas least means something of the smallest possible extent.

When used as adverbs, extreme means extremely, whereas least means used for forming superlatives of adjectives, especially those that do not form the superlative by adding -est.
