The difference between Disaccharide and Trisaccharide
When used as nouns, disaccharide means any sugar, such as sucrose, maltose and lactose, consisting of two monosaccharides combined together, whereas trisaccharide means an oligosaccharide consisting of three monosaccharide units joined together.
