The difference between Decile and Quantile

When used as nouns, decile means any of the values in a series that divides the distribution of individuals in that series into ten groups of equal frequency, whereas quantile means one of the class of values of a variate which divides the members of a batch or sample into equal-sized subgroups of adjacent values or a probability distribution into distributions of equal probability.
