The difference between Child and Hybrid

When used as nouns, child means a person who has not yet reached adulthood, whether natural (puberty), cultural (initiation), or legal (majority), whereas hybrid means offspring resulting from cross-breeding different entities, e.g. two different species or two purebred parent strains.


Hybrid is also adjective with the meaning: consisting of diverse 'hybridized' components.
