The difference between Virgin and Virgo intacta
When used as nouns, virgin means a person who has never had sexual intercourse, or sometimes, one who has never engaged in any sexual activity at all, whereas virgo intacta means a girl or woman whose hymen remains unbroken.
Virgin is also adjective with the meaning: in a state of virginity.
