When used as nouns, postgraduate means a person continuing to study in a field after having successfully completed a degree course, whereas undergraduate means a student at a university who has not yet received a degree.
When used as adjectives, postgraduate means of studies which take place after having successfully completed a degree course, whereas undergraduate means of, relating to, or being an undergraduate.
