The difference between Graduand and Undergraduate
When used as nouns, graduand means a student who has completed the requirements for, but has not yet been awarded, a particular degree, whereas undergraduate means a student at a university who has not yet received a degree.
Undergraduate is also adjective with the meaning: of, relating to, or being an undergraduate.
