The difference between Null and Zero

When used as nouns, null means a non-existent or empty value or set of values, whereas zero means the numeric symbol that represents the cardinal number zero.

When used as verbs, null means to nullify, whereas zero means to set a measuring instrument to zero.

When used as adjectives, null means having no validity, whereas zero means no, not any.

Zero is also numeral with the meaning: the cardinal number occurring before one and that denotes no quantity or amount at all, represented in arabic numerals as 0.
