The difference between Hetero and Heterosexual

When used as nouns, hetero means a heterosexual person, whereas heterosexual means a heterosexual person, or other heterosexual organism.

When used as adjectives, hetero means heterosexual: of, pertaining to, or being a heterosexual person, whereas heterosexual means sexually attracted to members of the opposite sex.
