When used as nouns, cishet means a cissexual/cisgender and heterosexual person, whereas heterosexual means a heterosexual person, or other heterosexual organism.

When used as adjectives, cishet means cissexual/cisgender and heterosexual, whereas heterosexual means sexually attracted to members of the opposite sex.
