The difference between Gay and Hetero
When used as nouns, gay means a homosexual, especially a male homosexual, whereas hetero means a heterosexual person.
When used as adjectives, gay means happy, joyful, and lively, whereas hetero means heterosexual: of, pertaining to, or being a heterosexual person.
Gay is also verb with the meaning: to make happy or cheerful.
