The difference between Heavy water and Semi-heavy water
When used as nouns, heavy water means water containing deuterium instead of normal hydrogen (symbol d2o), whereas semi-heavy water means dho, a heavier form of water, containing a protium and a deuterium type of hydrogen atoms.
