The difference between Glorify and Slander

When used as verbs, glorify means to exalt, or give glory or praise to (something or someone), whereas slander means to utter a slanderous statement.


Slander is also noun with the meaning: a false or unsupported, malicious statement (spoken, not written), especially one which is injurious to a person's reputation.
