The difference between Finite and Timeless

When used as adjectives, finite means having an end or limit, whereas timeless means eternal.

    Having an end or limit; constrained by bounds; whose number of elements is a natural number.

  2. Finite as an adjective (grammar, as opposed to [[infinite]]):

    limited by person or number.

    Examples:

    "The "goes" in "he goes" is a finite form of a verb"

  1. Timeless as an adjective:

    Eternal.

  2. Timeless as an adjective:

    Not affected by time; ageless.

  3. Timeless as an adjective (obsolete):

    Done at an improper time; unseasonable; untimely.

  4. Timeless as an adjective:

    Not decreasing over time in quality and appeal.

    Examples:

    "The cave carvings have a timeless beauty."
