The difference between Facet and Respect

When used as nouns, facet means any one of the flat surfaces cut into a gem, whereas respect means an attitude of consideration or high regard.

When used as verbs, facet means to cut a facet into a gemstone, whereas respect means to have respect for.


Respect is also interjection with the meaning: hello, hi.
