The difference between Ephemeral and Everlasting

When used as nouns, ephemeral means something which lasts for a short period of time, whereas everlasting means an everlasting flower.

When used as adjectives, ephemeral means lasting for a short period of time, whereas everlasting means lasting or enduring forever.


Everlasting is also adverb with the meaning: extremely.
