The difference between Dude and Guy

When used as nouns, dude means a man, generally a younger man, whereas guy means an effigy of a man burned on a bonfire on the anniversary of the gunpowder plot (5th november).

When used as verbs, dude means to address someone as dude, whereas guy means to exhibit an effigy of guy fawkes around the 5th november.
