The difference between Cove and Guy

When used as nouns, cove means a hollow in a rock, whereas guy means an effigy of a man burned on a bonfire on the anniversary of the gunpowder plot (5th november).

When used as verbs, cove means to arch over, whereas guy means to exhibit an effigy of guy fawkes around the 5th november.
